Welcome

Hello and welcome to my portfolio webpage. I created this site so my friends, family and newcomers could take a look at some of my recent films and still photographs.

I started studying film at the University of Washington where I received a B.A. in Cinema Studies and made my first film called The United Greek System of America, which I used as my thesis film for Cinema Studies and also my other major, Slavic Languages and Literature. The “mockumentary,” as I call it, revolves around the debauchery of collegiate Greek life and how it reflects the United States government. That is where my interest in film production began.

I then graduated and moved to the Czech Republic, where I studied at a one-year film school called the PCFE (Prague Center for Further Education). The school taught core classes in screenwriting, directing, editing, cinematography, and electives in acting and animation, etc. I learned a great deal and that is where I gained most of my experience in film.

I recently returned back to my hometown of Portland, OR and will be living in Los Angeles at the beginning of October of 2007.
